IMPORTANT NOTICE TO COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES: ONLINE TRAINING ON EUROPEAN UNION (EU) OPPORTUNITIES AND PROCEDURES
The International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), through its partnership with the European Union (#coops4dev), has organised a series of online training sessions via Zoom for October 2026.
Objective:
To help cooperative societies understand how to engage with the EU, access funding opportunities including the Global Gateway initiative and meet governance and partnership requirements.
Training Schedule (October 2026):
1. Session 1 — 7 October: Understanding the EU External Action Ecosystem and Engaging with EU Representatives.
2. Session 2 — 13 October: Cooperative Readiness for the Global Gateway Initiative.
3. Session 3 — 20 October: Building a Strong Value Proposition for the EU.
4. Session 4 — 29 October: EU Compliance and Organisational Readiness.
Training Times:
Each session will be offered twice on the scheduled day:
• Morning: 09:30–12:00 CEST (English).
• Evening: 16:00–18:30 CEST (English with Spanish interpretation).
