Sources of Funds
TFC obtains income from member fees, shares and contributions. Major income also comes from investments in real estate and donor-funded development projects delivered with partners.
Public & Private Partnership
TFC operates under the Government Cooperative Policy, Cooperative Act and Cooperative Rules. We partner with ministries of agriculture, livestock, fisheries, industry and trade, and with development partners including Norges Vel, EU, FAO, IFAD and ALPHA ASSOCIATES on cooperative development, youth and women empowerment and rural employment.
TFC is a member of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF), Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF), JUWAVITA and the Agricultural Council of Tanzania (ACT).
