Tanzania Federation of Cooperatives (TFC) is participating in the SACCA Congress 2026 with the objective of showcasing the activities of its members—including those operating in economic sectors beyond financial cooperatives—as well as the services provided by the Federation.

The TFC pavilion has hosted representatives from Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS) from various countries, including Ghana, Rwanda, and Eswatini, who expressed interest in learning more about the Federation’s role in serving cooperatives across diverse sectors in Tanzania.

Through these interactions, visitors gained insight into the activities and needs of TFC members, as well as how the Federation represents them, advocates for their interests, and coordinates services that contribute to their development. The discussions also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences on how cooperatives from different sectors can collaborate and derive mutual benefit.

This participation enables TFC to enhance the visibility of its members on an international stage and build relationships that could unlock opportunities for collaboration, trade, and the development of the cooperative sector.
